Find the Forms: Recycling Arts
Using ideas from Rare Hare F.A.I.R discover the many uses of, and projects created with, recycled and reclaimed items. Use every day household objects as well as commercial design and industry scraps. Several project ideas are offered and sample projects will be made during workshop.

Color: Wild Beasts!
Explore the use of color in new ways including color mixing, use of complements, tints and shades, and monochromes. Projects highlight children’s books and historical artists (Impressionists and Fauves). Several projects are offered and sample projects will be made during workshop, including some templates to take home.

Self-Portrait Series: How Do You See Yourself?
Find out what you are “made of”, or rather how you can show yourself in various mediums with an emphasis on collage. Make connections with feelings, personal attributes, colors, the environment and the world. Discover alternative methods to the self-portrait, with no “realistic drawing” involved. Several project ideas are offered and sample pieces will be made during workshop.

Photography: Improving Classroom Photos and
Building Classroom Community & Diversity
Learn some photography basics to improve your photos, while learning new ideas to express the connection and diversity in the classroom. Projects enhance your bulletin boards and demonstrate how photography can be an expressive classroom tool.
